Does the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council have subchapters based on geographical location or have associations with local organizations, for example Southern Arizona or Tucson?
The AzNPC is state-wide NP chapter affiliated with the state and national NP organizations. There are a number of non-affiliated regional NP groups based in various locations throughout Arizona. These are special interest groups or regional NP groups whose role is primarily information sharing and offering CE events. While they often lend support to the state and national organizations, and participate in advocacy efforts in collaboration with the state and national NP organizations, these groups are not part of the Arizona Nurses Association, ANA, AANP or other major nursing organizations. Paying fees these organization's does not make you a member of a state or national NP organization or entitle you to the benefits offered by those larger organizations.
